From Mandukya Upanishad (Verse 3)

Sanskrit: बहिः
Transliteration: Bahiḥ
Translation: "external"

The Science of Yoga (I.K. Taimni)
Sanskrit: बहिः
Transliteration: Bahiḥ
Translation: "outside; external world"
Commentary: "The word Bahiḥ is used because the Universal Mind is outside the individual mind and the world image in the individual mind has an external source."
