Sanskrit: अध्यक्षरम्
Transliteration: adhyakṣaram
Translation: "in the verbal form"
Commentary: "the sound symbol of the Ātman is Om, which has three parts A, U, M, equivalent to the first three states or “feet” of the Ātman. So, the syllables and the sound of Om should be meditated upon as the Ātman. This is the symbol-worship."
