Definition:
- According to Advaita Vedānta, examples of this type of proposition include So'yam Devadattaḥ (this is that Devadatta) or the Mahāvākya, Tat Tvam Asi.
- It is one of the two types of Vākyārtha(s). This type is a non-relational sentence in that the two entities referred to are actually identical. (See Vākyārtha.)
