From Mandukya Upanishad (Verses 5, 9)

Translation: "desire; pleasure; lust; love (from the verb root kām – “to desire”)"
Definition:
  1. One of the four values of life. It is the hedonistic or the psychological value of life. 
  2. The god of beauty and love. Born from the Creator’s (Brahma’s) mind.
